No. You can contact me directly without a referral, although I may recommend GP or specialist review where appropriate. If you are currently receiving medical care or have recently had surgery, please bring with you any relevant information you may have relating to this. This includes medication, diagnostics and current management and treatment plans/recommendations/referrals.
Physiotherapy may help with general aches and pains, activity or sport-related injuries, reduced strength, balance or mobility, falls, post-operative recovery and rehabilitation following injury or a hospital stay. I also support people living with respiratory and other long-term medical conditions. If you are unsure whether physiotherapy is suitable for you, please get in touch.

Home visits are offered within the local North Somerset area. Travel charges may apply depending on location. Please get in touch to discuss the most suitable option and current availability. Flexible appointment times, including some weekend availability, may be offered. The Backwell treatment room is accessed by stairs, so please let me know if this may be difficult and we can arrange a more suitable option.
